UPS has recently updated their fee schedule for some services and this new pricing is now in effect. A $15 fee will be added for shipments when a bad address has been supplied or lack of information been provided (such as correct street name, suite number, floor number, apartment number, zip code, state etc.) UPS will attempt to obtain this information so that the delivery can be made.

Dear Members,
Let us be the first to say “Happy Holidays to you all! Yes, we are definitely in the holiday spirit here at BB Dropshipping and as we gaze through our design center and offices, it is easy to say, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas (not to mention the 3 foot of snow we got about 10 days ago)! As of today, we are releasing our 2009 Holiday Gifts and they can be found in the coming soon section. We suggest that you make sure to validate any older gifts that remain on your sites. Getting your holiday gifts loaded to your website quickly will ensure that the search engines will have ample time to crawl thru your sites and begin to organically rank your website for the upcoming holiday shopping season.
On the minds of all our members both new and old is the prospect of the upcoming holiday season. Along with you all, we have been concerned with this as well. With all that is going around both in Washington and in our own backyards it's not hard to base our real concern as; how will it all play out for me come December 31st. Well folks, we are here to say that after doing some research it appears there is hope.
As reported a few months back, the experts are saying that people are going back to a time that was considered "safe". Back to when saying Merry Christmas was acceptable and the colors were the traditional green and red. Gone will be the florescent funky colors, Sponge Bob decorations and those big blow-up yard ornaments and going back to a classic Christmas is going to be more the norm. Sure, you will be seeing those items as leftovers from last year, but most people will choose to fade back to a more secure and comfortable time of years past; settling in a comfort zone of familiarity and the security of family.
For personal gifting, it has been written that this year people are expected to spend about the same money as last year, only their shopping lists have been condensed to the closest of family and friends. No longer will there be extended family gifting, but larger or more plentiful gifts to those closest to them. Also the one single addition to most of their remarks was their pets. No matter how short they cut their shopping list, their pet would be getting at least one treat or toy; even to the cost of removing a person on their list, the pet would come first. So our holiday pet gift line should do well again this year.
For corporate gifting, just today we read in the USA Today, that companies will be cutting back in their holiday gifting. "One-third of small-business owners say they'll give employee gifts this year vs. 46% in 2008, according to an American Express Open Small Business Holiday Monitor survey released Monday. And 47% plan to dole out customer presents during the holidays, down from 52% last year." (Read the entire article.)
As last year dictated from the massive mall mega-sales, consumers are spending more time on their computers and are already shopping for holiday gifts. The convenience of visiting massive amounts of stores by a few strokes of the keyboard has been paying off for those who advertise or have spent time, effort and money into keywords and SEO practices. Consumers will be doing a good deal of their shopping over the internet so don't forget to send those newsletters out to your marketing email lists. Continue to promote your sites in PPC, shopping portals, postcards etc. Everything you can do now to promote your site will help generate sales for the holidays.

Just a quick note to inform you all of two very important items.
- PHONE SERVICE - As many of you have learned, we have been experiencing very poor reception within our building lately and have had very limited service. Well, that is about to change. Once again and hopefully for the last time, we are having new phone lines installed. In doing so, we are forced to close very early tomorrow morning for the company to do its work. If any of you have had the opportunity to work with cello, it is not a good thing to have dust or even a hint of dust with cello anywhere the area as it becomes magnetized to each other very easily. THEREFORE our design staff will be coming in very early in the morning to get out all orders that are received by us prior to 8:00AM (Mountain Time). THESE ORDERS WILL BE FILLED! Orders received after 8:00 AM (Mountain Time) will be filled on Monday morning. We do apologize for this inconvenience but we are doing our upmost to regain a good quality phone service again for you our members.
- GREAT HALLOWEEN! WOW! An unbelievable Halloween season this year! I do believe this is the very best Halloween we have ever experienced. You folks are selling the heck out of ALL the Halloween gifts! Congratulations everyone!
- ITEM SUBSTITUTION - Since our Halloween season is going so well, we have sold out of the plush pumpkin dog toy that is in several of our gifts. As an FYI - we are now replacing that plush with the white ghost. Supplies are very limited in that plush as well however since we are only a week from Halloween; we should be able to make it thru using this one substitution.

Recently we have had numerous requests for the Best Buddies Gift that was discontinued shortly after Christmas this past year. Since we do design all our gifts after the order is placed, we can still fulfill most of these orders by doing the following:
- Go to the Premium Gifts page
- At the bottom of the page you will find "Replacement Gift Basket"
- Select your Presentation Option
- Enter the original cost of the gift (DO NOT DISCOUNT IT BY THE $5 SERVICE FEE)
- Select the Replacement gift type
- Enter the name of the gift and item number
- Enter the quantity of this gift
We will research the components of that gift and design it to value using as many of the products included with that gift as we can, substituting as necessary. There is a fee of $5 for this service but you will receive your discount and it does count towards your overall monthly sales. Should you decide to reduce the price of the gift by the $5, that debit will come out of the product included. Please do not misunderstand this service, this is only for recently discontinued gifts and you should remove all outdated gifts immediately.
